FAQ · For patients

What does a result outside the range mean?

It means your result falls outside the reference range the laboratory reported for that test. Reference ranges are the laboratory’s own, and a result outside one is not a diagnosis.

Your clinic can explain what your results mean for you. The guide to reading a blood test report explains the terms used.
